Who We Are

The Africa Centre for International Trade and Development (ACINTaD) is an independent non-profit organisation registered as a company limited by guarantee in Ghana. The Centre is established to promote and influence trade-related policymaking that informs and inspires African nations to achieve prosperity in a way that is equitable and sustainable in an open economy. We do this through high-quality research & analysis, advocacy, capacity building, and advisory services.

The Centre aims to strengthen Africa’s position within the multilateral trading system by encouraging active participation of African countries, promoting trade and investment opportunities, and advancing the goal of sustainable development in Africa.
