Our Team

Ms. Sarah Appiah joined ACINTaD in March 2018 as a Program Officer. She is a young economist specializing in economic development issues. Her research interest are in development economics with key interest in international trade and economic policy, agriculture, fisheries economics and women empowerment studies.

She holds an MPhil in Economics with specialization in Development and International Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Philosophy minor, from the University of Ghana. Sarah worked as a research associate with Delink Services (Centre for Parliamentary Research and Development- Ghana), where she assisted in the publication of the first edition of the Parliamentary Diary Ghana.

Sarah is also a communicator and a peer counsellor. She has served as a peer counsellor for the Methodist- Presbyterian student union (MPU) and also as the president for the Graduate Christian Fellowship (GCF), all at the University of Ghana.

Her goal in life is to assist and promote national development through human capital, institutional and family development.
